From the Librarian of the Library...
The Gothic Library started out as a student project in Library school. My first attempt was on Google's blogger. It was . . . imperfect. So, after graduation, I thought I'd try it again.
Gothic Literature is a passion of mine, a passion of many. Who doesn't love the dread of the uncanny? Who isn't fascinated by the subtle differences between terror and horror? Who, late at night, doesn't hear things scrambling around in the walls of their room, or scratching at their windows? Who isn't thrilled by the unknown and unknowable? This site is a resource for like-minded folk who long to walk in dark woods, haunted corridors, and mysterious (and ruinous) castles. I hope this is a starting point for your own Gothic wanderings.

And now a short introduction to Gothic Literature...
